What is NPAM?

The Nigerian Pharmacists Association of Michigan is a not-for-profit association for individual pharmacy professionals of Nigerian descent. NPAM comprises pharmacy professionals from various sectors – retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, independent pharmacy, managed care pharmacy, and is open to others.


NPAM was organized to fulfill the following objectives:


  • Give back to our local communities by helping in the promotion of health and wellness.
  • Encourage cooperation for the improvement and enhancement of pharmacy practices and its members.
  • Work to increase the participation and leadership roles of its members in the pharmacy practice sectors they serve.
  • Promote the education of, and encourage scholastic excellence among Nigerian youth.
  • Foster and promote the interests of members and their families in the United States of America.
  • Promote unity among its members and their families.
  • Give back to Nigeria some of our acquired resources and knowledge.
  • Promote Nigerian arts and social values/culture in the United States of America.
     

NPAM Benefits

  • Networking opportunities that enable pharmacy professionals to share ideas, information and solve problems.
  • Establish communication network between sister associations nationwide and with Nigeria.
  • Serve as a unified body for vested interests of its members.
