Yes, you read that right!
 

On behalf of the entire membership and executive council of the Nigerian Pharmacists Association of Michigan (NPAM), Inc., we are pleased to acquaint you with our organization and extend our warm request for your esteemed consideration.

As you may know, NPAM is a not-for-profit professional association advancing the interests of pharmacists of NIGERIAN descent. Our membership cuts across retail, hospital, ambulatory, educational, and independent sectors while remaining open to other emerging practice areas.
 

So why should I be bothered ... you may ask? Well, we know you are a pharmacist. We also know you are a Nigerian, even before becoming a pharmacist. If you read this letter up to this point, guess what? ... YOU BELONG TO NPAM!!

In case you're wondering what we're all about, here's a sampling:

• NPAM donates pharmacy texts, journals, and magazines to pharmacy students in Nigeria
   
• NPAM awards scholarships to pharmacy students in Nigeria
   
• NPAM organizes Continuing Education programs for members and interested pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
   
• NPAM provides avenues for networking, collaboration, and idea-sharing among its members
   
• NPAM has group legal coverage for professional liability for its members
   
• NPAM engages in community outreach programs
   

While we're not trying to impress you with our accomplishments, we're trying to impress upon you to consider what portion of our missions you cannot agree with. Come on in. Let's sit down together and talk! As you may have imagined, we all don't agree all the time ... but we are open-minded enough to consider alternative points of view.

Why don't you join us? We need you. You have something to contribute, and we want to work with you. We meet once a month at the Southfield Recreation Center. You can call any of the numbers listed below.
